Why this blog?

I’m writing a book about four practices that I promise can change a person’s life immediately and forever. The practices aren’t really new, you’ve probably known about them for years. The catch is that in order to get results, you have to actually practice them.

I do practice them with about 60 percent of the experiences in my life, and the results have been really impressive. If I apply them to every experience, will the results be amazing? Is it even possible to do that? I’m going to give it a try, and I’ll blog about it twice a week (I’m aiming at Tuesday and Friday). But since I have a short attention span, I’ll blog about other fun things, too.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey and invite all your friends as I ponder ways to be kinder and more peaceful as well as happier and more successful.

By the way, here are the four practices: Let go of your attachments to outcomes; notice (and change?) the stories you tell; notice (and change?) the behavior patterns you slip into; and, use your ego as a guide instead of a letting it rule you.
